Thanks to Forrest Gump’s childhood sweetheart Jenny, surprising him with “the best gift anyone could ever get in the wide world,” Forrest sported the shoe across the country. Forrest’s lessons on love and treatment of others won hearts and by association, his lovable character helped make the Cortez the classic we love today.
