New Balance 997 "Rosé."
ssIn 2014, when CONCEPTS opened their New York location, it was a time for celebration. To welcome in their new store, they created a celebratory pair of New Balance 997s, named “Rosé,” to go along with the ceremonial clinking of glasses.
I’ll pretend I know something about wine for a second.
*Clinking of a single glass*
Please allow me to compare these 997s to a full-bodied glass because New Balance fully bodied these.
Hold them up to the light, swirl them around and release those fine aromas. Bring it up to your nose and give it a strong sniff. That’s the good stuff right there, the new shoe smell.
These are buttery soft.
That blushing suede upper is magnificent.
A smooth finish.
Now picture this, you get the 997s, it’s a balmy evening in New York and you’ve had a few. The sun is setting and here comes your new pal, “a rose for a rose?”
